The Murray County Recycle Center takes Household Hazardous Waste ALL YEAR LONG.
When you are doing your spring cleaning - REMEMBER TO RECYCLE!
Many household products you use to clean your kitchen and bathroom, maintain your car and home, and control animals and insects contain hazardous materials. If a container has the words caution, warning, danger or poison on the label and still has product inside, it does not belong in the trash. Unusable or unwanted chemicals are considered household hazardous waste when their disposal poses an environmental or health threat. When disposed of in the garbage, down the drain or on the ground, some household chemicals can threaten our environment, harm garbage collectors or hurt you.
Turn household hazardous waste into Murray County’s Recycling building in Slayton for safe disposal.
