*Family Child Care is defined as “A program licensed in a residence to provide child care to 14 or fewer children in order to promote the physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development of the children in the absence of the parent for a period of less than 24 hours a day. There are also special family child care programs providing child care at locations other than the license holder.”
*Child Care Center is defined as “A nonresidential program licensed to provide child care in a facility to promote the physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development of a child in the absence of the parent for a period of less than 24 hours a day.”
