OVERNIGHT CAMPING
Overnight Camping is available at our parks for the following fees:
SEASONAL CAMPING -
Seasonal Camping is available for the following parks from May 1 – October 1. A seasonal contract must be filled out and the camping paid for in full a the beginning of the season. Spaces are given out in a first come, first serve basis. For more information contact Justin Hoffmann at Murray County Parks at 507-836-1195 or 507-227-3925.
- Swenson Park (Current Lake) – 11 seasonal sites – $1,300.00 per site
- Seven Mile Park (Fulda) – 5 seasonal sites – $1,300.00 per site
- Sundquist Park at West Lake Sarah – 4 seasonal sites – $1,300.00 per site
CAMPING FEE PAYMENT
Seasonal camping fees must be paid in full at the time of the acceptance of the seasonal camping contract.
Regular overnight camping fees should be paid as soon as you secure a campsite. Pay envelopes are available from the camp hosts and should be filled out and deposited in the appropriate pay site at the campground.
You may also pay via the Murray County online bill pay system by clicking the button below. Calculate your fees for your stay, fill out the payment information, and select “Murray County Parks” as the Fee Type. In the Miscellaneous section, please indicate which park you are staying at and the dates.
Online payment is not considered a reservation for overnight camping. Our camping sites are given out, first come first serve, and payment for overnight camping is received after your arrival.

Don’t forget to call Justin Hoffmann to rent the 4-H Community Building on the Murray County Fairgrounds for banquets, Graduations, Family Reunions and more.

Corabelle Park
Location: 1316 16th Street, Iona, Minnesota 56141
Site Description: Corabelle Park is a relatively new park within the Murray County Park System. It is located on the south side of Corabelle Lake just off County Road 1. The park is adjacent to Corabelle Lake.
Size: Approximately 4 acres

End-O-Line Railroad Park
Location: 440 North Mill Street, Currie, Minnesota 56123
This stunning museum/park is located north of Currie. It features many historic buildings to tell the story of early frontier life.
The Park/Museum is open to the public from Wednesday through Sunday from Memorial Day to Labor Day from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. or available for private tours by appointment.

Size: Approximately 15 acres
Site Description: Located on the northern edge of the City of Currie and bordering the Des Moines River, this park holds a collection of buildings, both, historic and reproductions, that help tell the story of the early history of the railroads in Murray County and southwestern Minnesota as well as the history of Currie and Murray County. The center point of the park is the 1901 manually operated turn table that is on the National Register of Historic Places. The site also serves as the trailhead for the Casey Jones State Trail.

Forman Acres
Location: 30 Smith Lake Road, Currie, Minnesota 56123
Site Description: This Park is located on the southeast side of Lake Shetek and is adjacent to Lake Shetek State Park. Forman Acres can be accessed directly by hard surfaced County Road 37 and is just over an acre in total size. Due to its close proximity to both Lake Shetek and the Lake Shetek State Park, Forman Acres has the potential to be used by large numbers of people.

Site Description: Sundquist Park at West Lake Sarah is located on the west side of Lake Sarah off County Road 30 (hard surfaced). There is limited park space available for overnight camping opportunities.

Lime Lake Park
Location: 1998 Lime Lake County Park Road, Avoca, MN 56114
Site Description: Lime Lake Park is located on the south side of Lime Lake just west of the City of Avoca. The Park has an ideal location being so close to the community and situated just off of hard surfaced County Road 6.

Marsh's Landing
Location: 160 Valhalla Road, Slayton, Minnesota 56172
Site Description: Marsh’s Landing is located on Valhalla Island on the west side of Lake Shetek. The park is benefited by direct hard surface access via Valhalla drive from U.S. Highway 59 and is adjacent to the Valhalla Campground.
